One of the really fantastic things about being in Reno is that most every sushi place has an all you can eat lunch and dinner hour and its also pretty cheap, usually between $15-$25 per person. Casinos are also great because you can get food at any time because, well, casinos never close. I was used to that 24hr lifestyle so when I moved away - especially when I went to Chicago - I was always upset that sometimes I wanted to get some food and couldn’t find anything good and cheap at 11pm without going too far out of the way. Reno isn’t the best, but I do wholly appreciate casino food.

Burrito al Pastor | Perez Restaurant | West Loop
this was the day before flying back to the west coast. a friend had performed a piece at a nearby gallery and we all decided to have dinner here.
al Pastor is my favorite meat to get on tacos/tortas/burritos and i’ve found that sometimes it deviates drastically from what it usually tastes like - and not for the better. this burrito was way bigger than my appetite but good.
